Double page spread drafts

After receiving feedback from George, a potential target audience for my magazine I have realised that the text on the right hand side of the page is to small and will need to be increase to allow it to be easily read by the customer. Also George made me aware that the text would look better in a shape that refers to the magazine for example in the shape of a 'D' or even in the shape of a diamond.

Clothing style

These are the kind of clothes which K.I.D will be dressed in. These styles will match appeal to the audience and are those worn by artists of this genre. I will carry this style of clothing through to my contents page and also the big full page photo on the double page spread.

Style of double page spread photo

I want the image to cover the whole left hand page of my double page spread. The picture on the left is the type of photo I want to use, a close up side shot. However I would like the model in the photo to be facing the text on the right hand page to give more focus on it and also creating a clearer link between the two pages. I will also have the model wearing a red piece of clothing to tie in with may colour scheme. The right hand side of my double page spread will contain only text and no pictures.

Analysis of pitch

After completing my pitch I have realised that for a first edition my magazine will need more information on the front cover rather that a extremely simplistic deisgn as seen on some complex magazines I have shown as insperation. Therefore I will be keeping I will keep the complex magazine look however with more text as seen on vibe magazines.
