Marking of magazines


Rhythm 'n' beatz LEVEL 1 (13 marks)
Cover 
.No clear colour scheme, to many colours
.Basic layout, not much going on, plain looking
Contents
.Angle of image looks odd and looks out of place
.The pages look to detailed and listed making it hard for the reader
.Poor Photoshop skills, pictures are badly cut out 
Double Page Spread
.Interview is not long enough 
.Again poor editing on the images, look stretched, image is repeated from cover

VOICE LEVEL (28 marks)
Cover
.Mast head doesn't stand out
.Clear colour scheme.Picture look out of place
Contents
.Pictures don't look professional and are poorly taken
. Background of the picture is a bedroom, look unprofessional
Double Page Spread
.Interview is a decent length and works well
.Clear colour scheme and well laid-out
.Picture fits in well and is placed in a good spot


DROWNED INSOUND LEVEL 3 (44 marks)

.Mast head stands out, eye catching 
.Maybe too many colours and not a clear colour scheme
.Looks busy, and the picture looks blurry which makes the magazine look unprofessional

.Interesting layout, 
.Looks a bit confusing which goes against the conventions of a contents page

.White spot light makes the page interesting and is relevant for a music magazine
.Clear colour scheme, text stands out, good use of pictures


Supremacy LEVEL 3 (45 marks)

.Good colour scheme using the traditional red white and black
.Masthead text on cover stands out, good layout 
.Cover photo looks professional
.However I don't think it looks like a music magazineContents
.Side bar works well, easy to use for the reader

.Model look uncomfortable in the picture .Image is not very suited to a music magazine
